A PROPERTY consultant has been found dead near cliffs in the county.

David Elliott worked for Regal Estates, which has offices in Castle Street, Canterbury, and in Broadstairs.

Police patrols and detectives were called to the scene between Viking Bay and Stone Bay in Thanet at 5am on Tuesday.

They are not treating the death of the father-of-three as suspicious.

In September, Mr Elliott, of Bridleway Gardens, Broadstairs, was sentenced to 200 hours unpaid work and banned from driving for 32 months by Canterbury magistrates for drink-driving.

The court heard he crashed his car into a field at Littlebourne and was found to be more than three times the drink-drive limit.
