FIRE crews have been tackling a major house fire which broke out this morning.

Four crews from Medway went to the address in Prince Charles Avenue, Walderslade, near Chatham, at about 9.30am.

It is thought the fire started in an upstairs bedroom.

The cause of the fire is not yet known.
