Fire crews were called to the scene of a fire in a hay barn in Harrietsham.

The blaze broke out at around 11.30pm Thursday in Church Road.

At its height there were around 36 firefighters on the scene.

A spokesman for Kent Fire and Rescue said on Friday morning that had been scaled back to 12.

It is not yet known what caused the fire.
