Firefighters were called when 150 tonnes of woodchippings caught light in Broadstairs on Saturday afternoon.

The fire is believed to have been caused by a nearby bonfire.

Crews were called to Sacketts Hill Road at 4.50pm and remained at the scene until around 9pm. No one is thought to be have been hurt.
