Police probing the theft of five dogs and a Land Rover from a Kent driveway had issued photographs as part of their investigation.

Thieves stole a green Land Rover Defender containing the three springer spaniels and two cocker spaniels from Powder Mills in Leigh, near Tonbridge.

The animals were all micro-chipped and contained in a silver box divided into three kennels on the back of the vehicle.

Police say the vehicle is a pick-up with the number plate DOG 9K.
