The former chief executive of Swale Borough Council is taking the authority to an industrial tribunal.

Mark Bilsborough was sacked for misconduct at the end of April after an 18-month absence.

Complaints about his conduct made by senior members of staff led to his dismissal.

A date has to be set for the employment tribunal which will be held in Ashford.
