A crash involving four cars caused long delays on a motorway.

Emergency services rushed to the scene on the M25 this afternoon after the crash between Junction 3 of the M20/A20 (Swanley Interchange) and Junction 2 A2 (Darenth Interchange).

The incident, which happened anti-clockwise at about 5pm, caused serious delays with one lane blocked for several hours.

Highways officials confirmed the road did not fully reopened at around 7.55pm.
