FOUR people were taken to Maidstone Hospital this afternoon after a suspected gas leak at Detling Aerodrome, near Maidstone.

The incident took place at around 3.50pm. Firefighters from Maidstone were called to the scene but the situation had already been dealt with by ambulance crews who were treating four adults for symptoms of inhilation including nausea and dizziness.

The cause has not yet been officially confirmed.
