SUPPORT the NSPCC and help bring an end to child cruelty.

This is the message from fund-raisers from who are promoting the work of the charity.

Beverley-Jayne Last from Walmer, Paul Graeme from Sandwich and Carol Cunningham from Shepherdswell have all been supporting the NSPCC for many years.

They are now urging others to join the FULL STOP campaign by becoming a volunteer.

Beverley-Jayne started fund-raising when she retired seven years ago and has organised everything from charity golf tournaments to bike rides.

“I had more time on my hands and felt I wanted to put something back." she said.

“I had a fantastic childhood but so many children don’t. They are our future and need out help.”

Beverley-Jayne’s next project will be letter to Santa campaign.

“For a donation of £5 people can have a letter from Santa delivered to a child of their choice," she said.

Carol also started supporting the charity in 2000, when she started making regular donations.

* Letter to Santa leaflets can be found at Stitch in Time, Scarpe, Seasons and Noir in Deal along with The Strand Pharmacy, Renaissance Hiar and Beauty and Texaco in Walmer.
