Last weekend’s result against Port Vale was disappointing for everyone but we’re still looking at the bigger picture.

We just need to keep trying to get as many points as we can, win as many games as we can and as quickly as we can.

Although we didn’t get any points on Saturday, our tally so far this season is where we want to be and that’s what we are looking at – the bigger picture, as always. That’s what we have to concentrate on.

We have watched the game back two or three times. We conceded early and going behind anytime is not great. But it is about how you react and we did positively. After their first goal, we had the lion’s share of possession. They then got a second and then from the kick-off, we came straight back with a fantastic strike from Danny Kedwell. It showed good character, desire and determination.

On another day, the outcome might have been different but it wasn’t to be and you just keep working hard to try and improve.

We head to Rochdale this weekend aiming to claim a 10th away win of the season. It’s great that we have put ourselves in a position to win those games.

We are doing a job on teams and have defended well and got good energy and pace in the side for any counter-attacking should it occur.
