An unchanged side is likely to be selected for Gillingham’s clash with Norwich on Saturday.

Despite losing heavily last weekend at Leeds, boss Mark Stimson hasn’t forgotten the impressive performances which the team produced leading up to that match.

"I doubt I will make changes as we were in good form before that game," he said.

"It was disappointing to lose against Leeds but we need to look at the big picture and, after watching the game back on the DVD, we did have some good opportunities.

"If we can do that against lesser opposition, then we’ve got a chance. It was a horrible result but not the worst performance.

"We’ve got another fantastic test against a team with great resources and a good squad.

"I believe they will have around 2,000 supporters coming and that just shows the size of the club."

Meanwhile, midfielder Stuart Lewis returned to the training ground this week as he continues his recovery from a pre-season ankle injury.

Lewis has been out since picking up the injury at Bishop’s Stortford.

Mark McCammon, meanwhile, remains unavailable for selection as he continues his recovery from a hamstring injury.
