Gillingham look set to bring in another new face this week following injuries to Danny Kedwell and Charlie Allen.

Leading scorer Kedwell looks set to be absent for around a month with a hamstring injury while the Gills will also now be without Allen, after the midfielder broke his wrist in Tuesday’s game at York.

Boss Martin Allen (pictured) was already considering freshening up the side before the injury to Charlie Allen.

“Hopefully there will be a new one arriving tomorrow,” said Martin Allen, in his post-match press conference in York.

Allen was due to speak with chairman Paul Scally before he flew back to Dubai.

“We were working on it (on Tuesday afternoon),” said Allen. “And now we have an injury to the player who hurt his hand and so now almost certainly we will have to go and do something there.”
