Gillingham could target Crystal Palace defender Lee Hills

Crystal Palace youngster Lee Hills could be a target for the Gills when he becomes available for loan.

Palace boss Neil Warnock has been reported as saying that the highly-rated left-back may be available after their Championship fixture with Middlesbrough on Saturday, November 7.

Gills manager Mark Stimson has previously made inquiries before about the 19-year-old and knows he faces stiff competition.

Stimson said: "He is someone who impressed us when we played them in pre-season and we’ve monitored him since.

"He’s a good young player. We’re going to be made aware when he is available, like about four or five other teams who would like him."
