Teenage forward Ashley Miller could be involved in Saturday’s FA Cup match against hometown club Dover.

The highly-rated 16-year-old (pictured) made his debut for Gillingham on Tuesday night and now looks set to be included in the team to face the club where he once played as a youngster.

Miller, who attends Dover Grammar School, had a day off to train with the Gills on Thursday and boss Andy Hessenthaler is ready to throw him into the action again if needed.

Hessenthaler said: "It would have been nice to put him on when we were winning and comfortable but it doesn’t matter how old you are if you’re good enough.

"He will remain around the squad. He was a bit nervous on Tuesday and he needs to get used to us but it’s difficult because he has to go to school.

"Everyone is after him at the moment and we can reel off all the clubs. We’ll try and keep him as best we can."

Can Miller shine against his home-town team? Have your say below.
