A GIRL of 14 is in a serious condition in hospital after she was struck by a car.

The incident happened on a slip road leading from the A20 Swanley by-pass.

The girl was involved in a collision with a BMW 5 series car travelling up the slip road to the interchange at 10.15pm last Friday. Nobody else was injured in the incident.

Kent Police’s Serious Collision Investigation Unit is now appealing for witnesses to come forward. Anyone with information is asked to contact them on 01622 798538.
