POLICE are trying to trace a teenage girl who punched a 37-year-old man in the face in an unprovoked street attack.

As the man fell to the ground he was also kicked in the chest by his assailant who is thought to be aged about 15.

She was with a group of youngsters when the attack happened in Newington Road at Ramsgate.

The girl is about 5ft 2in tall, slim with brown shoulder-length hair tied in a ponytail. She wore a dark blue hooded top, blue tracksuit bottoms and white trainers.

Although the assault happened on August 23, police are still trying to identify the girl.
