DETECTIVES investigating the suspicious death of a 44-year-old Kent man have issued descriptions of two children they wish to speak to.

Kevin Lucas was found dead in his flat in Ellington Road, Ramsgate, on Tuesday, June 7. The cause of his death is not yet known.

Police are now trying to identify two girls, believed to be aged between nine and 13, who may have spoken to Mr Lucas in a supermarket. They were seen carrying boxes in Netto in Ramsgate High Street at about 2.50pm on June 2.

One girl, thought to be the older of the two, is slim and has shoulder-length blonde hair. It was tied in a ponytail. The second girl has long blonde hair which was tied into two ponytails.

Anyone who thinks they know who the girls are is asked to contact Det Con Ray Butterwick on 01843 222012.
