ARMED robbers have raided a jewellers in Beckenham, robbing the store at gunpoint.

Three men entered Argento Jewellers, in the High Street, at about 4pm, on Tuesday, and stole jewellery from the window displays.

The suspects are described as white and in their early 20s. Two of them wore stockings over their faces.

The gang fled the shop in a stolen silver or gold Vauxhall Zafira which was later found abandoned nearby in Church Avenue.
