Canterbury hospital 'needs work,' according to Matthew Hancock

In a week of heavy political canvassing and televised debates, the Conservative Health Secretary visited Canterbury hospital and admitted it "clearly needs work."

Matthew Hancock said: "There will be investment going into this hospital if the Conservatives are returned to office.

"It is absolutely crystal clear to me as Health Secretary that this hospital needs investment, and is going to get investment. There will be investment into all of the hospitals in east Kent."
