The heavy rain across Kent has left some homes flooded.

Kent Fire and Rescue Service was called to flood-hit properties in Maidstone, Tonbridge and Rochester.

Meantime motorists are being urged to keep speeds down and be aware of the flash flooding on the roads.

The weather was due to settle later this afternoon.
