Homes offer chance to enjoy country living

Kent house-builder Pentland Homes, has just launched a new development of four detached homes in Shadoxhurst, near Ashford.

The development, Maytree Place, includes two three-bedroom homes and two four-bedroom homes that have been designed to fit in with the country setting, with traditional exterior design including white weatherboard and red brick.

All four homes incorporate fully fitted kitchens with integrated appliances including double oven, microwave, fridge/freezer and dishwasher. The kitchen leads on to a light and airy conservatory that opens out on to the garden.

Both have a large living room including a fireplace, which could hold a wood burner if required. There is also a separate dining room and separate cloakroom on the ground floor.

Upstairs, all homes have a spacious master bedroom with en-suite as well as a separate family bathroom.

Janet Burnell, sales and marketing director of Pentland Homes, said: “This is a lovely site in a wonderful country setting. I believe that these homes are ideal for a family or couple who want to be in a village location.”

Shadoxhurst is an historic village in a wooded countryside between the North Downs and Romney Marsh to the south west of Ashford. Ashford International is six miles away with fast train links into London or Paris.

Prices for the three-bedroom homes at Maytree Place are £329,950, and the four bedroom homes are priced at £339,950
