Police have uncovered a suspected cannabis factory at a house in Margate.

Around 1,000 plants at various stages of growth were discovered on Sunday after police were contacted by concerned residents in the area.

A police spokesman said: "We found evidence of cannabis cultivation in six rooms at this address.
