A MAN was kicked in the face and head while he was lying on the ground after being set upon by two men in a Kent town.

One of the offenders asked him for the time before he was pushed to the ground and attacked by both men. He handed over his wallet to the pair, who then ran off..

The victim suffered a stress fracture to his eye socket and a possible broken nose, as well as severe bruising to his face and upper body, during the assault and was taken to the William Harvey Hospital in Ashford.
