Improved equipment for not a penny more

HYUNDAI has introduced new equipment on models across the range at no extra cost.

The Trajet seven seater has become popular with large families looking for carrying capacity at a competitive price. Dual air conditioning, heated door mirrors and side airbags become standard equipment on the 2.0 GSI model. The V6 CDX (previously known as the 2.7 V6) also gets dual air conditioning. The 2.0 GSI is £15,495 on the road, while the V6 CDX is £18,545.

The Sonata has rapidly built up a reputation for offering smart executive transport for low money. The V6 (previously known as the 2.7 V6) now comes with Smartnav satellite navigation - including live traffic information - as standard equipment. Hyundai is the first company in the UK to offer this system as standard on any model. The Sonata V6 is £17,495 on the road.

The Santa Fe sports utility vehicle has won many fans for its American styling, high standard equipment and low purchase price. The V6 CDX (previously known as the 2.7 V6) now comes with heated mirrors, cruise control and climate control as standard. The Santa Fe 2.4 has also been renamed the GSI, while the 2.0 TD becomes the CRTD GSI.

The Elantra benefits from a number of price reductions. The 1.6 GSI four/five door drops from £12,195 to £10,995. There is a new 1.6 CDX five door model, at £12,495. The 2.0 CDX four/five door falls from £13,995 to £12,995. The 2.0 CRTD GSI five door (formerly known as the TD GSi) drops from £13,195 to £11,845. Finally the 2.0 CRTD CDX five door falls from £14,995 to £13,345.
