DAMAGE estimated at about £1,000 was caused early today to games machines at the Dreamland arcade on Margate seafront.

Police said five of the amusement machines were broken into and attempts were made to force open a further five.

The intruders entered the building through the front door. Anyone with information is asked to contact Margate police, telephone 01843 231055.
