kmfm has made one winner's Friday by giving them £1,000.

Aly Bechelli from Parkwood, Rainham was this month's lucky winner.

Their hugely popular competition '£1,000 Friday' invites listeners to enter to win a thousand pounds to spend however the winner would like.

Gameplay starts at 6pm Thursday and wraps up at 6pm Friday giving listeners 24 hours to take part and win.

Following thousands of entries from their Kent audience, Aly was 2021's first winner.

She received a call from presenter Rob Wills on Drivetime.

Aly had just got back home from work at the Memorial Hospital in Sittingbourne.

She said: "I messaged first thing this morning and again when I got in from work.

"This is amazing, I have a four-day weekend as well so this is perfect. I'll use the money for something in the summer!"

Rob explained that if Aly hadn't text kmfm a second time she wouldn't have been today's winner.

There will be more winning from Monday with another £1,000 to be won on 'Say It' on kmfm Breakfast with Garry and Laura.

Music Blaster with Rob Wills is also returning with a £300 cash jackpot.
