The M2 has re-opened after two lanes were shut for almost three hours when a car transporter jack-knifed.
The lorry scattered a large amount of gravel from a ditch at the side of the road onto the coastbound carriageway.
It happened between J2 (Strood) and J3 (Chatham) at about 10.30am.
Lanes one and two of four were closed about half a mile before J3. They were re-opened at just before 1.30pm.
