Police are investigating the rape of a 19-year-old woman from Kent.

The incident happened on Brighton beach in the early hours of Friday and the woman says she was grabbed by two men and raped while a third man watched.

Sussex Police said she had been staying with a friend in a hotel and they went out together for the evening. Her friend returned to the hotel, leaving her alone.

The men who raped her are said to be in their 30s. It has not been revealed where in Kent the woman lives.

Any witnesses, or anyone who saw anyone running away from the area, are asked to contact the police on 101.
