Knife threat in wine store robbery

A ROBBER entered a wine store and threatened a member of staff, saying he was carrying a knife.

He demanded money and then left Threshers off-licence at The Square, Riverhead, near Sevenoaks, through a rear door.

Police in West Kent are appealing for information about the incident which happened shortly before 8.30pm on Tuesday, August 8.

The raider escape with cash but it is not known how much. No-one was hurt during the incident.

The man is described as white, about 6ft tall and aged in his late 20s. He had short, dark hair and was wearing a black coat and jeans.
