The number of landlords in Kent taking steps to evict their tenants has risen.

The county saw landlord possesssion actions go up by eight per cent between April and June this year compared to the same period last year.

This was worse than the national increase of two per cent.

Dartford had the highest number with 329 actions.

But Ashford had the biggest drop in actions of 19 per cent, taking its total to 90 for this year's second quarter.
