HOMELESS hounds are hoping to find a magnificent mum of their own this Mother’s Day.

Staff at the Dogs Trust centre in Chestfield, near Whitstable, are specifically looking for female owners for three dogs who are frightened of men because of bad experiences in the past.

Luke, Bumble and Benson would all love to meet their perfect partners and staff hope Sunday’s celebration of parenthood will inspire people to consider expanding their family with a furry child of their own.

Centre manager Lizzie Reffell said: “These three gorgeous boys are looking for a mother on Mother’s Day to fill their lives with the joy they deserve.

“On Luke’s wish list is a kind new mummy who will take the time to help him settle into his new home.

“Benson is an old charmer who is fantastic around the ladies and loves going out in the car.

“And Bumble has had a hard time in life up until now and is frightened of other dogs as well as men, which makes him need a mother’s love all the more.”

For information on any of these dogs, or others looking for new homes, visit the centre in Radfall Road or call 01227 792505.
