A packed torch relay day ends with a magnificent concert at Leeds Castle tomorrow.

Performances from chart toppers Rizzle Kicks, plus local entertainment, are some of the highlights of the torch relay evening event in Maidstone.

Before that, the stars will be out in force as part of the 10-hour relay during the day.

Carrying the flame will be ex-javelin thrower Steve Backley, Olympic swimmer Karen Pickering, tennis star Elena Baltacha and Margate artist Tracey Emin.

The route works its way from Deal to Maidstone, including towns such as Broadstairs, Margate, Canterbury and Faversham on its route (see details below).

The evening celebration, which runs from 5pm to 7.30pm, will welcome the torch to Maidstone with a cauldron lighting ceremony and other entertainment.

This includes Rizzle Kicks and other musical acts.

There will also be a performance of The River Runs Through, commissioned by Maidstone Borough Council and Kent County Council and performed by local children and adults.

It tells the story of Maidstone through history.

For those without a ticket, a free community concert will be held at Mote Park at the same time, beaming the events at the castle to a large screen.
