Heavy traffic has been reported on the M2 after a three-vehicle smash this morning.

Emergency services were called just after 8am after two cars and a van crashed three miles west of Sittingbourne.

One of the drivers suffered a minor injury and was taken to hospital.

It caused tailbacks between junction 5 near the A249 and junction 6 at Faversham.
