A YOUNG man has appeared in court charged in connection with a robbery at Osbourne’s Newsagents in London Road, Soutborough, near Tunbridge Wells.

Richard Benamara, 20, of Broomhill Park Road, Southborough, was arrested on Thursday and later charged with robbery.

He appeared at Sevenoaks Magistrates’ Court on Friday and was remanded in custody to appear at crown court.
