Man and woman punched during street attack

POLICE are hunting a young man after a man and a woman were assaulted in the Kent town.

The attack took place while the pair were walking down Priory Road, Ramsgate.

They were set upon from behind. The woman was punched in the face and the 38-year-old man, who is from Deal, required stitches to cuts to his face.

Their attacker is described as a white male aged between 17 and 18. He was wearing a yellow top and a white baseball cap.
