A man has been arrested and bailed after firefighters were called to deal with a car fire in Rochester early on Monday.

Firefighters from Strood tackled the blaze, in Wilson Avenue, after the call-out at 2.50am.

The fire crew was at the scene for 30 minutes.

Police were called and arrested a 47-year-old man.
