Man arrested in connection with a serious assault on two men in Sittingbourne

Police have arrested an 18-year-old man following a serious assault on two men in a Sittingbourne alleyway.

One of the victims, a 44-year-old man, suffered a fractured skull in the assault and after being treated at Medway Maritime Hospital, is now recovering at home.

The attack took place in an alleyway between Capel Road and Roonagh Court on October 10, between 1:30am and 2:30am.

The 18-year-old man was arrested on Thursday, October 15, on suspicion of actual bodily harm and grievous bodily harm and has been bailed pending further enquiries until November 10.
