A MAN of 40 has serious burns after falling onto a live railway track.

The unnamed man, from Halling, near Rochester was transferred to a specialist burns unit at the Queen Victoria Hospital in East Grinstead in West Sussex at about 3.30am on Saturday morning.

Emergency services have not been able to give details as to where and when the incident took place.
