A 17-year old boy from Rochester has been charged in connection with an incident in which a man was stabbed.

The teenager was arrested after police were called to Delce Road, Rochester, on Wednesday night.

He appeared before Medway Magistrates on Friday on a single charge of wounding with intent.

A man, said to be in his 20s, is recovering in hospital after allegedly being stabbed in the chest.
