A man has today been charged with attempted rape after an alleged attack in Chatham.

Police have charged 33-year-old Adhanom Brehe of Scotts Terrace, Chatham with two counts of attempted rape, in relation to the alleged incident on January 2 in the road.

Brehe appeared at Medway Magistrates court this morning where he was remanded until January 16.
