A man has been found dead in woodland near Dartford, prompting a police investigation.

Officers were called to Wood Lane, Darenth, just after 7.20pm on Friday to reports a body had been found.

The man has been named as 44-year-old Colin Birch, from Erith.

Three people, a man and two women, have been arrested in connection with the death and bailed while enquiries continue.
