A man has been found dead by police in a Kent village.

The alarm was raised at around 8am on Sunday after the body of a man was found in Long Mill Lane, Plaxtol.

The dead man, who is thought to have been found hanged, was in his 50s.

The death is not being treated as suspicious and a report has been prepared for the coroner.
