Man quizzed over raid on security van

A 33-year-old man has been arrested in connection with an armed robbery outside a bank.

The man, from Aylesford, near Maidstone, was arrested and bailed by police following the robbery on a cash delivery van in London Road, Larkfield, at about 10.30am on Friday.

Two masked offenders armed with a knife and a handgun approached a Securicor staff member delivering money to the NatWest Bank.

Both men were wearing balaclavas and were seen driving away towards Aylesford in what is believed to have been a black, A Class Mercedes.
