A man was seriously injured when his Ford Fiesta left the road, rolled and hit a wall in Paddock Wood.

Police say the man is in a serious but stable condition, and are now calling for witnesses to the collision, which happened in Maidstone Road, at the junction with Newbridge Park, shortly before 6.30pm on Monday.

A female passenger received less serious injuries, and was also taken to Maidstone Hospital with the driver.

Investigators are keen for anyone who saw the blue Fiesta or a dark coloured Mercedes in the area before the incident to get in touch.

They are trying to trace the driver of the Mercedes, who is thought to have information to assist the inquiry.
