AN elderly man was trapped under a milkfloat after a road accident in Rochester this morning. The man, who is thought to have stepped in front of the float, was released by firefighters.

The man is thought to have suffered a broken leg and was taken to Medway Maritime Hospital.

The accident happened in Orion Road just before 8am.
