DETECTIVES are appealing for information following an indecent assault on two girls who were playing outside a house in Gillingham.

One of the girls is aged 11 and the other five. They were approached by a man who is alleged to have pinched their bottoms.

It is thought that the offence occurred between 4.20pm and 4.45pm on Tuesday, May 31.

Det Sgt Noel Stanley said: "We would like to hear from people who can help us locate the man. He is described as being white, of slim build, around 5ft 9in tall, with untidy shoulder length black hair and glasses.

"He was wearing a blue T-shirt and black baggy trousers. It has also been reported that he has very bad teeth."
