A MAN has been found dead in a Gillingham park.

The body of 47-year-old Graham Charles Clark was found in an alleyway off Balmoral Gardens, near Railway Street. It is thought Mr Clark, who lived alone in Weston Road, Strood, died elsewhere and that his body was moved to the alleyway.

Police quickly cordoned off the area when the body was found on November 29 as they began an investigation into his death. A spokesman for Medway Police said: "Officers made a thorough investigation of the scene. Evidence gathered there indicated the man had died elsewhere and his body had been moved."

A post mortem examination was carried out but the cause of death was inconclusive.

Call police on 01634 884252 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
