A convoy of vehicles journeyed through Leysdown for the sixth annual Invicta Military Vehicle Preservation Society’s (IMPs) vehicle show.

More than 40 military vehicles attended the show and 23 of them took part in the convoy that travelled from Mustards Farm to Leysdown.

A collection with buckets managed to raise more than £150 for the Royal British Legion.

The vehicles then paraded back to Mustards Farm where IMPs members enjoyed a private event in the evening.

There was a barbecue and a game of rounders and everyone camped over night to take part in a clay pigeon shoot the next morning.

Joanne Bater, area secretary of IMPs who organised the event, said: “It went really well and we even had a piper to pipe us into Leysdown.

“Everyone thoroughly enjoyed it and we would like to say thank you to Chris and Eleanor Beale who own Mustards Farm for letting us hold it there every year.”
