A TEENAGE boy suffering from depression who went missing on Monday afternoon is said to be safe after making contact with his family.

Mark Durham, 16, phoned his parents yesterday to say he was in the Hastings area - but police are still investigating is exact whereabouts.

He is described as white, 5ft 10ins, of slim build with short light brown hair and blue eyes, and was wearing a tracksuit when he was last seen.

Mark was last seen by his parents at about 2.30pm on Monday when he left the family home in Valence Road, Erith, for local shops.
