A TEENAGE girl missing since the beginning of January has been found safe and well.

Kayleigh Gemma Smith, 14, was last seen in Southill Road, Chatham, on Monday, January 5.

At that time police issued an urgent appeal for help after family and friends grew increasingly concerned for her welfare.

But now the youngster has returned to her home in Chatham.
